Qualifiers for 2011 Nationals will begin in October!
 
Beginning in December, we started running Singles Qualifiers to compete for a spot at next years Nationals!  Qualifier boards must contain at least 8 players.  Qualifers will be double elimination!  There will be at least 8 boards run per year.  For every 8 boards that are run, one player will win his/her way to Nationals!   NO REGIONAL QUALIFIERS!  All winners will come from our area!  Try getting that in another league!

August 14th at 1pm - @Crazy 8's in Lewisville 
Come root for your favorite player!
 
 

How it works.......

 

To be eligible a player must have at least 6 matches on the date of the qualifier so that your handicap has been established unless the player is a 7. 

 

Boards consist of eight people of similiar skill levels to play and then we draw for positions.  Every attempt is made to keep high and low skill players on separate boards.  Usually 5,6, & 7's play on one board and 2,3, & 4's play on another board. 

 

Players play matches based off of their handicap rating.  Double elimination events!

 

When we have eight board winners those players play off to see who gets to go to Nationals!

 

No regional qualifiers!  All winners will be from North Texas TAP Pool Leagues!

 

$20 entry fee to qualify!  Win the finals event and win an estimated $1000 all expense paid trip to National Singles!

 

TAP Nationals has all Single Skill Level Nationals!  This means you only compete against your skill level!  If you've ever wanted to compete against players in your handicap ranking, now is the time for you!
